Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using modern POS systems.
- Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and provide product recommendations.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while maintaining strict cash drawer accuracy.
- Bag purchases neatly and assist with customer inquiries at the checkout counter.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
- Basic math skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
