What You'll Do:
As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations by managing transactions and assisting customers.
Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, accurately scanning items and processing various payment methods (cash, credit, debit).
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, answering questions about products and locating items within the store.
- Cash Management: Handle cash deposits and balances with extreme accuracy, ensuring all registers are balanced at the end of the shift.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and tidy at all times.
- Merchandising Support: Assist in restocking shelves and organizing displays to maintain a professional appearance for the store.
- Problem Solving: Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the checkout process with patience and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
