Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments while maintaining strict accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy checkout area and store aisles.
- Assist with bagging items and restocking shelves during slower periods.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
