Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and maintain cash drawer accountability
- Provide friendly customer service, including product information and checkout assistance
- Operate scanners, price checkers, and other point-of-sale equipment
- Bag merchandise efficiently and assist with store cleanliness and restocking
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to management
- Adhere to security protocols for cash handling and fraud prevention
- Participate in inventory management and stock rotation as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for accurate transactions
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn POS systems quickly
