Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge, assistance, and friendly engagement
- Bag items efficiently and offer carryout assistance for elderly/disabled customers
- Monitor checkout area for cleanliness and restock checkout supplies as needed
- Assist with inventory counts, price verification, and promotional displays
- Resolve minor customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to management
- Adhere to all security protocols and loss prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/POS systems
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to/from assigned Dallas location
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn retail operations
