Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout the checkout process.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict adherence to company policies.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies.
- Assist with bagging purchases and maintaining a tidy checkout area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new POS systems quickly.
