Responsibilities
- Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems: Efficiently process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments with 100% accuracy.
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and provide exceptional service to build loyalty.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stocking shelves, organizing the checkout area, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and presentable.
- Financial Accuracy: Balance the cash register at the end of every shift and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management team and fellow staff members to maintain store operations and meet daily sales goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Math Skills: Strong ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekly schedule.
