Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision and accountability
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure cleanliness at all times
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and price verification
- Support team members with merchandising and store operations as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and loss prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong numerical accuracy and cash handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
- Basic proficiency with technology (POS systems, smartphones)
