Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, knowledgeable assistance regarding products and services.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions with strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and checkout area.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment as needed.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a polite and solution-oriented manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
