Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide outstanding customer service including product knowledge assistance and checkout efficiency
- Manage inventory tasks including restocking shelves and organizing displays
- Operate scanning equipment and handle returns/exchanges per company policy
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and store appearance standards
- Assist with price checks and promotional signage implementation
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong numerical accuracy and cash handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
