We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Cashier to join our dynamic team at Metro Market Milwaukee. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for ensuring every customer leaves our store with a smile and a great shopping experience. What You Will Do:
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide friendly assistance.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail.
- Bag groceries and ensure the checkout area remains clean and organized.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding store hours, product locations, and pricing.
- Assist with inventory stocking and shelf organization as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
