Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist with bagging items and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during shifts.
- Perform light stocking duties to keep shelves and displays well-maintained.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Previous retail or cash handling experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong math skills and proficiency with basic cash registers and POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light boxes or merchandise.
