Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products or answering questions.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Bag merchandise efficiently and assist with loading customer vehicles when necessary.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required; we provide training.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to make change and handle cash transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
