Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, accurately processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Bag and organize merchandise, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls and handle customer service inquiries professionally.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.
- Handle cash deposits and reconcile daily sales reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
