Responsibilities
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems with accuracy and speed.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and assist with product selection.
- Process payments efficiently via cash, credit, and debit cards.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and gift cards according to company policy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
- Collaborate with the sales floor team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
