As a Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile and a seamless checkout experience.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments, ensuring all discounts and promotions are applied correctly.
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and exit, maintaining a friendly and inviting store atmosphere.
- Handle cash drawers with the highest level of integrity, balancing cash registers at the start and end of every shift.
- Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and organization, ensuring shelves are stocked and the sales floor is visually appealing.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with team members to support store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier positions is a plus but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money accurately with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
