Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge every customer with a friendly smile and professional demeanor.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor the service counter to ensure timely customer service and minimize wait times.
- Assist with bagging items, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area at all times.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during shifts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
