Location: 123 E Shaw Avenue, Fresno, CA 93710
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and responsibility.
- Bag merchandise carefully to ensure safety and prevent damage.
- Assist with inventory stocking and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
