Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS).
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card payments while maintaining strict accuracy.
- Bag purchases neatly and organize the checkout area.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Assist with inventory organization and restocking when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
