Responsibilities
- Scanning items efficiently at the point of sale using POS systems.
- Processing payments accurately, including cash, credit, and debit cards.
- Greeting customers warmly and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Assisting customers with bagging items and answering product-related questions.
- Handling returns, exchanges, and gift card transactions with accuracy.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
