Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS).
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and ensure product displays are appealing.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Assist in bagging groceries and ensuring items are loaded securely into customer vehicles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
