Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process sales.
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Assist with bagging items and ensuring a smooth checkout process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required for immediate hires).
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus, but we train motivated candidates.
- Strong math skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the sales floor.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
