Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to handle sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
- Payment Handling: Safely handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments while adhering to company security protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
