As a Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our customers have a seamless and positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with strict adherence to company security protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve any issues with a smile.
- Assist with bagging items and ensuring proper merchandise presentation at the register.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and inventory control guidelines.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous retail or cash handling experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
