Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the point of sale.
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing the register, balancing drawers, and making deposits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment for shoppers.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure product availability.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding store policies, hours, and product locations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, cashier, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
