Responsibilities
- Greet all customers warmly and professionally as they enter the store.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments with strict accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Monitor the register throughout the shift to maintain accurate cash drawers and inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is preferred but not required; comprehensive training provided.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
