Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area for all shoppers.
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and provide exceptional service.
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing store displays to ensure product availability.
- Resolve customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to stand and move around for the duration of the shift.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail to prevent errors.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift light objects (up to 25 lbs) when necessary.
