Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate POS systems accurately to process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Handle cash drawers, ensure proper change is given, and balance the till at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Assist with bagging items and loading customer vehicles when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is required.
