Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet every customer with a warm welcome and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and cash security.
- Assist with bagging items, keeping the checkout area organized and tidy at all times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to maintain inventory levels and visual displays.
- Support other store functions as needed, including stocking shelves or light cleaning.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with precision.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required (we provide training).
