Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Ensure the sales floor is tidy and merchandise is displayed according to company standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
