Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and answer inquiries regarding products, prices, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to cash-handling policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and checking product freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or cashier roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude are essential.
