Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer transactions using POS systems while maintaining accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and problem resolution
- Operate cash registers, handle cash/credit transactions, and maintain balanced registers
- Bag purchases and assist customers with carryout services
- Monitor checkout area for safety, cleanliness, and organized displays
- Support inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6+ months of retail or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency with technology and point-of-sale systems
