Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer integrity
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly greetings, product knowledge, and problem resolution
- Bag groceries efficiently and assist customers with carryout services
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, including restocking supplies
- Scan and price items, verify coupons, and handle payment methods (cash, credit, EBT)
- Monitor store shelves for inventory replenishment and communicate stock needs
- Adhere to all food safety, security, and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
