Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, and digital payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
- Bag merchandise efficiently and assist customers with locating products throughout the store
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, including restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and ensure secure handling of store funds
- Support inventory management through price checks and stock rotation as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding cash handling and loss prevention
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred; training provided for motivated candidates
- Strong numerical accuracy and ability to operate point-of-sale systems efficiently
