Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide outstanding customer service with genuine smiles and product knowledge assistance
- Bag groceries efficiently and offer carryout services to enhance customer experience
- Monitor checkout area for cleanliness and safety compliance
- Assist with inventory management and stocking tasks as needed
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly or escalate to management when appropriate
- Participate in team training sessions to enhance product knowledge and service skills
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
