Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Operate scanning equipment, process payments, and manage returns/exchanges
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas and assist with stocking shelves as needed
- Support store operations by participating in inventory counts and merchandising activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during all transactions
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail in handling cash
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn POS systems
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
