Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer transactions using POS systems while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
- Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly
- Assist with stock replenishment, shelf organization, and maintaining a clean shopping environment
- Operate scanning equipment and process returns/exchanges per company policies
- Support opening/closing procedures including cash register balancing and secure cash handling
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours
- Adhere to all food safety standards and security protocols
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong numerical aptitude and basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Excellent communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
