Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Scan, bag, and merchandise products efficiently while maintaining organized checkout stations
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Handle returns/exchanges per company policy with professionalism and patience
- Support team members during peak hours and special store events
- Adhere to all safety protocols and loss prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn POS systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
