Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide outstanding customer service, including greeting shoppers and answering product inquiries
- Bag items securely and assist with carryout services as needed
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, including restocking supplies
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments while reconciling registers
- Monitor store inventory and report discrepancies to management
- Assist with general store maintenance and stocking duties during downtime
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
