Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly greetings, product knowledge, and issue resolution
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean shopping environment
- Operate scanners, scales, and payment processing equipment following company protocols
- Manage returns/exchanges according to policy while documenting transactions
- Monitor checkout lanes for security and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor
