Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accuracy
- Deliver friendly, personalized service to all customers and resolve inquiries promptly
- Bag purchases and assist with carryout services for elderly/disabled patrons
- Monitor checkout area cleanliness and restock supplies during downtime
- Support inventory counts and price verification as directed by management
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and store operational policies
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/credit transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor
