Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products and answering inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist with inventory management and merchandise restocking as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to medium objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
