Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer transactions using POS systems while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge, problem resolution, and friendly interactions
- Bag groceries and assist with carryout services to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, shelves, and store displays
- Scan and price merchandise accurately while adhering to inventory control procedures
- Support store operations by restocking shelves and rotating products
- Report maintenance issues and security concerns to store management
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail for cash handling
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic proficiency with technology and willingness to learn POS systems
