Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, card, and digital payments
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Operate price scanners and ensure accurate pricing and promotions
- Participate in opening/closing procedures including cash register balancing
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and operational goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (currently enrolled students welcome)
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual a plus)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
