Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service with a warm, approachable demeanor
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments securely
- Assist with bagging groceries and maintaining organized checkout areas
- Answer customer inquiries about products and store policies
- Support inventory management and stocking duties as needed
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in checkout zones
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong basic math skills and comfort handling cash
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Availability for flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Previous retail or customer service experience (a plus)
- Reliable transportation to our Hennepin Ave location
