Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide outstanding customer service through efficient checkout and product knowledge
- Bag groceries and assist with carryout services for elderly/disabled customers
- Stock shelves and maintain organized, clean checkout areas
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to management
- Perform price checks and promotional item verification
- Participate in inventory counts and loss prevention measures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 6+ months cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with basic math and point-of-sale technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
