Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to technical support tickets and system alerts during the night shift.
- Perform routine server maintenance and system health checks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and hardware malfunctions for remote staff.
- Document all nightly incidents and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Conduct nightly security audits to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles (night shift experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently during off-hours.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
