Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches in a calm and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular security inspections and write detailed incident reports.
- Control access to the premises by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes.
- Assist in emergency evacuations and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Perform routine checks of perimeter fences, doors, and windows.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Virginia State Security Guard License (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and monitor areas for extended periods.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
