Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment during the evening hours.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting cycle counts.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with morning shift staff to ensure a seamless handover of operations.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (shift typically starts at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM).
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computer systems and handheld scanners.
