Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned premises to detect security risks and prevent unauthorized access
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarm activations within 2 minutes
- Document incidents using digital reporting tools and maintain detailed logs
- Escort employees/visitors and enforce access control protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct safety inspections and report maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Valid CA Guard Card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- HS diploma or equivalent; college students encouraged to apply
- Ability to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts with occasional stair climbing
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Basic computer skills for reporting systems
